Marion Dumaine

Marion is deeply committed to supporting the people who make up the backbone of rural communities. She takes pride in producing high-quality work with a strong attention to detail, and is driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to the agricultural sector.

Originally from Paris, France, Marion loves New Zealand’s stunning natural landscapes and recognises the country’s global leadership in the agricultural sector. Through her studies, she developed a passion for farming systems and environmental sustainability, which she now applies in her professional work. Marion supports farming clients with environmental reporting, consent applications, and meeting industry requirements – helping them navigate challenges and drive positive change.

Marion holds a Master’s degree in Soil Science from Lincoln University, with a focus on agricultural and environmental systems. Her thesis explored mitigation strategies to reduce nutrient leaching from dairy effluent applications, with the goal of balancing environmental protection and practical, cost-effective solutions for farmers. This work has since contributed to a published paper on effluent management.
